The Power of One: Preventing Suicide in America

The Power of One: Preventing Suicide in America

Tonya Anderson: November 2004

This is me after 42 years of bad decisions, divorce, failed relationships, financial problems, 9/11, sexual abuse.  You name it, I lived it and survived.  This picture was taken in Hawaii. Surrounded by paradise, I was miserable and on the edge of wanting to end it all, die.

This picture was taken one week after I had planned to end my life. Can you see how  miserable I was? Even in Hawaii.

Life became too much and suicide appeared to be my only answer.  Through a beautiful  act of human kindness, I am alive, today.  This is a picture of me, turning the corner from my life of misery to one of pure joy.

Tonya Anderson: May 2014

This is a picture of me after I learned to follow my heart, and place my happiness and health first.

I learned to live my dreams, boldly, fiercely and exquisitely from the inside out.

I learned this on my own, but I have to say Steve Jobs said it best:

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”  Steve Jobs

Happily, I am dancing in Bali with Carolyn and Morgana Rae.  Everything I am — my life experiences, spiritual trainings and my M.S in Clinical Mental Health  Counseling, with emphasis in PTSD — is available to help you become happy.

Your happiness is my focus. I am ALL IN for your happiness!

You may have learned that all the money in the world cannot make you happy, but happiness is possible, even after the most difficult of challenges.

Joy is your nature, it needs to be reclaimed.  Together, we will discover your joy. My specialties are in resiliency, joy and helping loved ones in the aftermath of suicide, both attempted and loss survivors.

I have deep understanding and compassion for men who have  been or are being abused by women. Call me to schedule your Life Strategy consultation. Call 570-916-1135 or email  me at Tonya@anexquisitelife.com.
