What’s In It for You?

Pamper YourselfYou will:

  • Acquire new skills and make bold, new decisions – decisions that will bring more prosperity into your life.
  • Realize that you have the power you need to be joyously prosperous.
  • Recognize these gifts already exist in your life and are within your grasp.
  • Open your heart to the divine within you, and share your contributions with the world.

A bonus of the event will be meeting and being supported by like‐minded women, just like you, who are ready for their lives to prosper in new, exciting ways.

A Note About Connectivity

No Cell Service at the LodgeYour cell phones may not work at the lodge, however, it appears to work for Verizon customers. There is a main telephone for the lodge and messages can be delivered by lodge staff. If you wish to use your phone, you can drive down the road to the closest “hot spot.”

There is limited wi-fi connectivity within the lodge, but when everyone is online, the connection will slow down. You’re welcome to bring your mobile phone and laptops, but don’t expect the cell service or Internet to be operational.

The weekend retreat is about disconnecting, anyway. We’ll fill your days and evenings with so many activities, you’ll be happy to leave your voice messaging and email behind.

About Crystal Lake Camp

Driving up the mountain, you leave distractions behind and enter a world that is conducive to fellowship, adventure, reflection and renewal. All the lakes, trails, wetlands and woods are yours to explore.

Laughlin Lodge
A charming historic lakeside hunting lodge over 100 years old nestled in the heart of the Endless Mountains. Peaceful views of Crystal Lake or the surrounding woods from every bedroom upstairs. Take the hand-crafted wooden staircase down to the living room where you will find a wall-to-wall library of books and leather couches in front of a grand stone fireplace – the perfect place for curling up with a good book.

Laughlin LodgeAs this is a former hunting lodge, you will encounter a degree of rustic charm  but if you love stepping back in history, you’ll love it. There are numerous nooks and crannies to write in including secluded spots along the lake.

The other side of this large downstairs room includes a dining room table that can accommodate up to 15 people, a wood stove, a chess table and a hutch full of board games. Dining room is adjacent to a modernized kitchen with a separate washer and dryer room. Head out to the wrap-around stone porch to sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy a fantastic view of the lake, just a few feet away.

Rooms will be assigned in order of registration and alums register before general registration. We cannot guarantee single rooms: there are a limited number of single rooms available. Accommodations are primarily dormitory style or with a roommate.

There are two full baths upstairs and two half baths downstairs. Upstairs bedrooms sleep up to 14 people in six bedrooms. Rooms include two single bedrooms, one bedroom with twin beds, one bedroom with a full size bed and two bedrooms with full size beds and bunk beds.
