Families are Sacred
Well, I think this is a deeper issue that has come to hit us directly in our faces until we get it. Thousands of children, if not millions, are having challenges living in this world just as Bobbi Kristina Brown did. Her experience touches all demographics — across the board, they’re all similar and yet different.
It is shocking that the world knew she was grieving the death of her mother, yet all the money, power and access to health care could not save her.
Millions of parents ask themselves this question everyday. It is tragic. Especially, when I know this very thing is happening in our community. Parents are losing their children to drugs and violence and hopelessness.
Families are sacred, no matter how dysfunctional. My guess is whether we know it or not, Bobbi Kristina’s fate is news because her fate is the fate of our children.
I hope she wakes up from her coma and lives a full happy life.
